I recently dialled 08443386918 to make some adjustments to a quote I found on the MCE site. Unfortunately, I was stuck on hold for a staggering 35 minutes, utterly oblivious to the fact that it racked up a bill of £22.086! To make matters worse, I was met only by a monotonous answering machine and never actually spoke to a soul. After all that time, I decided enough was enough and hung up. What a colossal money-grab! Such practices are downright unacceptable and it’s high time companies faced consequences for this sort of behaviour!

I reached out to MCE to sort out some inaccuracies with my insurance information, completely oblivious to the fees that would be incurred. They ended up charging me £10.34 for a call that lasted just over 16 minutes! I certainly won’t be using their services in the future. It feels quite duplicitous and deceptive, if you ask me. Interestingly, this is the sole contact number provided on their website. It’s rather shortsighted of them, don’t you think?

I reached out to MCE to get a quote and ended up on the line for a good 20 minutes, completely oblivious to the call charges. To my surprise, when I checked, I was slapped with a bill of £4.48! That’s the last time I’ll be contacting this firm; it feels like I was led on to linger unnecessarily, especially since all the other insurers I contacted that same day had the courtesy of free or local rate numbers. What a complete swindle!

I noticed this number has appeared on my most recent Virgin mobile statement, and it's charged me more than £7 for a call that lasted 11 minutes. The problem is, I never dialled it.
