I've received several phone calls and a text message as well. The message claimed that our Bcard account was overdue and that we could no longer process any payments. Given my past experiences with Bcard, which I've generally found to be quite reliable, I was suspicious. I have their official contact number, and sure enough, everything with our card is perfectly fine. These scammers haven’t made any legitimate attempts to reach us. Clearly, this was a fraudulent attempt!

I've just experienced a right swindle as well. When you’re on the line and refrain from sharing your number, you end up speaking to a recorded voice (sounded like an Indian operator) who endlessly searches for your card details. After a while, they claim there’s a poor connection and suggest you hang up. Quite the dodgy business, if you ask me!

Provide them with false information, like inaccurate middle names, addresses, and birthdates. It's quite something how they insist on receiving a utility bill and a copy of your ID! Just let them know you don't hold any accounts based in the UK.
