I decided to answer on 19th Nov and followed the instructions to press a number to speak with someone about removing me from their call list. However, when I got through, it sounded like there was a person there but then they abruptly hung up. Now I’m worried that pressing that option might have rerouted me abroad or it’s some dodgy scam designed to slap me with a huge phone bill.

looks like its mostly boiler calls in the replies, but mine are always about double glazed windows. I'm never in whenever they ring, so i just get part of some recorded message on my voicemail all the time! proper annoying!

These muppets have rung me about 30 times now, always leaving that same annoying message. There’s no way to get hold of them and tell them to stop. I’ve already got a new boiler, and honestly, wouldn’t touch them with a bargepole even if I needed one!

It's the same old story, calls about free government boilers. When I press 2 to talk to someone (because pressing 9 to opt out doesn’t actually stop the calls), they just hang up on me midway through when I ask to be taken off their list. This has happened twice now. I suppose they’ll just keep ringing. It’s really irritating since I run a business and have to pick up every call; we don’t have any call blocking set up.

I’ve also been getting calls from this lot, apparently saying I qualify for free double glazing through some government scheme. The company’s called Money Help Marketing, doing lead generation and finding clients. They ring from a load of different numbers and honestly, it’s a pain. Sometimes it’s about PPI claims, sometimes accidents, all sorts. If you happen to express even a bit of interest, they pass your number on to other companies related to that. I told them to stop calling me, but they keep at it. I even reported them to Ofcom, but nothing’s changed yet.
