So, my partner dialled this number thinking it was the universal credit call centre. She got left waiting on the line for about half an hour, and by the time she hung up, it had charged us more than £20! Proper daylight robbery if you ask me.

I just noticed a 20-minute call from this number logged on my BT landline and there’s a £2.86 charge for it. Problem is, I don’t recognise the number at all and I’m pretty sure I didn’t make that call. Very strange.
