It instructed me to press 5 if I wished to proceed, or 9 if I wanted to halt any further communications. Quite the peculiar situation!

I used to get calls from this number two or three times daily. I foolishly pressed 9 to try and block them, but now I’m bombarded with four calls a day, without fail! What a mess!

I missed a call and when I finally got a chance to check, 1471 showed the number was 08437240914. Unfortunately, it took me a good 80 minutes to dial 1471 since my line was constantly engaged. I reached out to BT online, but their line test just caused even more hassle, which is why it dragged on for so long. In the end, the only way I managed to restore my landline was by simply rebooting the phone. I'm still left wondering whether that engaged tone was a result of some dodgy call or merely a coincidence.

I've been receiving daily calls from a robotic voice claiming to be from Barclays Bank. If I press 5, it insists that I’m entitled to a refund for some mortgage insurance fees. Here's the kicker: I don’t even have a mortgage or any account with Barclays! When I requested to be removed from their autodial list, the call abruptly disconnected. Quite puzzling, really!

I kindly request that you put an end to these incessant calls. I've attempted to halt them before, but to no avail. Is there any method where one could register and, if they manage to reach out to these callers, it somehow leads to a cancellation or even incurs a cost for them? Additionally, is there a possibility to block these numbers? With so many calls coming through, particularly at odd hours when they're likely to connect to vacant properties, they could eventually establish a phone connection to a specific address. It’s quite concerning, really!
