On the 25th of March 2015, around 9:25 in the morning, I got a call from this number while I was in class at college. It showed up on my phone but I didn’t have a clue who it was, so I just ignored it and let it ring off. I mean, who calls out of the blue during work or study time anyway? Seems a bit odd to me. - caller: 0843 724 0891

they call me nonstop like 2 or 3 times every week. ive blocked em now but they just swap out the last 4 digits and keep at it. so annoying!

Saw some bad reviews about this number, so I decided not to pick up when it rang. Caller ID showed unknown.

Got a call from some place about life insurance, seemed like a total spam thing.

I got a call from 08437240891 and as soon as I picked up, there was this automated message saying something about an important announcement. Didn’t catch what it was about cause I quickly hung up and blocked the number. Not really sure what the fuss was supposed to be.

Got a call on 2nd April 2015, around 10:24 in the morning, from the number 0843 724 0891. It was an automated message regarding my life insurance policy. Problem is, I don't even have life insurance!

They called me real early in the morning but I was fast asleep, so I didn’t pick up.

They keep ringing me like 2 or 3 times every day, I never pick up but they just won’t stop.

Is there seriously no way to stop these companies from doing this? It’s so annoying how they keep calling and you can't seem to get any help. Would be great if someone actually stepped up to sort this mess out.

They just keep ringing me non stop, even though I never pick up. Honestly, they really need to be put a stop to quickly. The few times I have answered, they just don’t accept ‘no’ for an answer. I hate sounding harsh, but it’s the only way with them.

It was 10 in the morning on Saturday the 1st of April. My very first call of the day... definitely not how I wanted to kick off April Fools, sigh!

I picked up the phone and a recorded message started telling me that some new law meant I qualified for an updated life insurance premium. It asked me to press '9' if I wanted them to call me back in two days. I just ended the call right there, thinking it was probably just a scam or some annoying cold caller.

This number just rang me. Normally I don’t pick up calls since I struggle to hear properly, so it went straight to voicemail. The message was some kinda robot, never said who was calling. I’m definitely blocking this one. - caller: 08437240891

Got a call from someone saying they were from Pension Review Scheme. When I tried ringing the number back, it just went straight to an automated voice. Definitely felt like a cold call to me.

This number popped up on my missed calls, so I decided to call back, assuming it might be something urgent. Instead, I ended up on a voice recording talking about pensions.

This number keeps ringing me and I’m honestly so sick of it.

I got a call on my mobile from this number recently, with a recorded voice saying there was some important info about my life insurance. Problem is, I don’t have any life insurance! No company details were mentioned at all. The message told me to press 5 if I wanted a callback about cheaper premiums or 9 if I wanted to opt out. Seemed really suspicious to me! I just ended the call straight away because I was worried that even choosing to opt out might lead to more calls or expensive charges. I’m definitely gonna block the number and report it to Ofcom. Normally I just ignore unknown numbers, but I was expecting a delivery so figured I’d pick up this time - what a hassle! - Caller ID showed as Unknown Life Insurance - total scam!

They never said which company they were from. The message said press 5 to speak about cheaper premiums or 9 to stop getting calls. Seemed really sketchy to me. I just ended the call, not wanting to risk pressing anything and possibly getting bombarded with more calls or racking up charges. Planning to block this number and report it to Ofcom.

This number called me earlier. Looked it up on Google and saw loads of similar reviews, so I’m actually relieved I didn’t pick up. They phoned at 9.29 exactly. From what I’ve seen in the comments, they tend to ring at around the same time every day!

I’ve had this number ring me a couple of times, but I couldn’t pick up because I’m in Spain - it’s 08437240891 that keeps buzzing my phone.

I had my phone on silent overnight after a late shift, ready to pick up any messages easily. When I checked in the morning, there was a missed call from 0843 724-0891 at about 9:20am. Sounds about right, doesn't it? Seems like that’s the prime time these jokers choose to bother folks in the UK with cold calls. Maybe after a leisurely start to their day, lounging by their expensive pool in their posh robes, they ring us just to waste our time for a laugh. I decided to ring the number back using a spare PAYG phone. Got an automated voice from a group calling themselves 'The Pension Review Team'. They said they offer a “free” pension review if you press ‘5’, or if you want to remove your details from their list, press ‘9’. I didn’t press anything - probably just a trick to reroute the call to some pricey foreign line charging a fortune per minute. Definitely a cold call, but I’d put money on it being a scam too. These types don’t always get your number by dodgy means, it’s more likely they’ve got a phone plugged into a computer running through all UK numbers one after another. - caller ID: 'The Pension Review Team'
