Fella named Paul phoned me from 0843 7240638 claiming to be from Accident Support Network. When I asked for their company address, he wasn’t able to give me one straight away. I had to get advice on it. Later on, he said it was Unit 12, Cinderwood Business Park, Croxford Lane RG24 8WD. Checked it out on Street View, but as of Sept 2012, the place looked empty. Now it looks like Express HR Services is there instead.

Got a call on my mobile which isn’t listed or unblocked, so no idea how they even managed to get hold of it. The number showed up as 08437240638 but they cut off, probably because the signal was rubbish. I rang the number back from my landline and a recorded message told me to ignore it because it’s a scam. Need to check if I got charged for that!

They called me and said press 5 for a callback, and press 9 if you want to take your number off their list. I pressed 9 but still kept getting calls. Then I pressed 5 and got three more calls after that. Every time I say I haven’t had an accident and ask them to delete my number, they just hang up before I can finish. It’s really frustrating.

They keep ringing me constantly, I blocked their number but somehow they get through by taking off the +44 and dialing from an 0843 number instead. They call daily, sometimes twice in one day, every day of the week. Never leave a voicemail, and I haven’t picked up once. Had a bit of peace for a while, but now they’re back at it. What else am I meant to do to make them stop?! Sadly this isn’t the only one pestering me, it began with something about ‘my contract’ or ‘could be’.

08437240638 keeps ringing me multiple times each day. When I picked up, some Indian bloke said I owed money because of an accident and some finances I supposedly had to sort. Then he started swearing at me, saying stuff like “suck your mum if she ain’t dead, you British white b***h.” I was gobsmacked but replied calmly, saying something like, “Hope your dad's strapped a bomb vest to you, you #### Arabian idiot!” Sorry, but I was proper livid!!

They rang me again today. Loads of folks are saying they’re getting calls from these idiots, so how is it even legal for them to keep ringing us up? They go as far as leaving voicemails and, depending on your phone plan, you might have to pay just to hear the daft message. When I get a voicemail alert, I haven’t a clue who it’s from - could be something important for all I know. The TPS doesn’t seem to do a thing.

I asked what accident they were talking about as I had no idea. Then they claimed someone in my family had got hurt!! I panicked and said, "Oh no, who was it and was it a bad accident?" Told them I felt faint and needed to sit down from the shock. Of course, they couldn’t give any details coz no one was hurt!! Then they just hung up. TPS is pointless, doesn't stop these calls at all. So, I ended up getting a BT phone with an automatic call blocker to deal with these annoying calls. It’s so peaceful now without them ringing all the time??

Loads of firms keep ringing up about a crash I was involved in earlier this year, all pushing me to make a compensation claim which according to their recorded message is 'your rightful claim'. When I requested to be taken off their list since I was sick of these calls, some rude bloke told me they’d just keep bothering me anyway! I’ve now blocked more than 20 different numbers, all from claims companies connected to my accident, and that’s just the ones that actually show their number!
