I receive calls from them almost every day, but I usually avoid answering calls from unknown numbers. However, their persistence is becoming more and more frustrating. It has begun to bother me quite a bit.

On the 17th December, we were bombarded with a total of 7 calls from a specific number, starting bright and early at 8:30 am. This relentless trend continued onto the next day, the 18th, when we received an additional 3 calls, all originating from the same number. As a person with disabilities, it is particularly challenging for me to rush to the phone only to discover its silence on the other end. It is imperative that this disturbance is put to an end.

I received a call just 5 minutes ago, and I rushed to grab the phone before it stopped ringing. I have been persistently harassed by this particular number offering PPI refunds. After considerable thought, I made the decision to engage with them and finally managed to speak to someone. They asked for my name, but I refused to provide it and instead inquired about their identity. They informed me that the voicemail call was not made by them, but rather generated by a different entity that passes it on to various companies. Although they reluctantly admitted to having received my call, they displayed rudeness and abruptly ended the conversation when I asked for the name of their company.

Received a call at half past six this evening! I'd been home all day, so why the sudden need to disturb me now? It was a recorded message about PPI, warning me that if I don’t claim, the bank would keep my refund. They instructed me to press 5, and after doing so, I ended up speaking to a rather courteous chap from England. When he asked for my name, I reminded him that he had contacted me, hence he should already have that info. He claimed he wasn’t the one who rang, but rather his company, who obtained my number somehow. By pressing 5, I got misdirected to his line, and while he could view my number, my name was a mystery to him. I allowed him to continue his spiel, inquiring about whether I had a credit card at one point, but just as I wanted to delve deeper, he abruptly cut the call. Perhaps I was a bit too inquisitive for his liking! I always thought that banks were diligent about processing refunds automatically.
