Just got a call from this number too, and honestly I reckon some mobile firms are up to no good. So beware, I’m keeping an eye on things and you’ll probably get a message or call off me soon. My tip? When you grab a new phone, pay up front with cash, don’t sign anything or take out finance. Also, make sure you aren’t listed in any public directory. I think users with Android phones might notice this happening more than those with older types of phones. If anyone wants to check, T-Mobile seems to be the one that’s usually causing these problems, especially with certain tariffs.

I keep getting loads of calls from numbers I don’t recognise, and it seems loads of others are saying the same thing in the comments! Feels good to know I’m not the only one being bothered. I’ve grouped all those numbers into a single contact on my phone and labelled it “Scammers” just to keep track. Wish these calls would stop for good. Sometimes I can’t help but wonder if the mobile networks are behind some of it, since they're always ringing up trying to pitch stuff!
