The moment I picked up, the line just went dead instantly.

i picked up and it was an automated voice saying “well done, you have a shot at winning £1000 or an iPad. press 2 and someone will call you back within 24 hours, or press 9 if you want to stop receiving calls.” i went ahead and pressed 9, then it said i’m now on their do not call list. they rang me at 8:15 in the evening!
