Avoid this number at all costs, it’s a total con! It showed up online as an HMRC contact, and since I needed to complete my self assessment before today’s deadline but couldn’t log in, I decided to phone it. It charged me around £1.50 per minute from my PAYG credit and booted me off the call while I was just trying to follow HMRC’s automated options. Proper scam! Now I’m facing a £100 penalty because I couldn’t sort it in time. Whoever runs this line, I hope you enjoy ripping people off because karma’s coming for you! Don’t ever call this number!

Total rip off - I got hit with £19.55 for a 22 minute call after they left a voicemail. EE said there's nothing they can do to stop it! Honestly, just report it to your network, maybe they can help sort it out. Proper scam, be careful.
