I called British Gas on their usual number and was then unexpectedly redirected to some premium rate line that I wasn’t aware of. When I looked at my phone bill, to my shock, I found I'd been charged nearly £8.90 plus VAT for two calls! I’m planning to reach out to British Gas about this.
