I received a call today from a number that was clearly meant for someone else. Despite me not being the intended person, they pressed on with their inquiry. The firm in question was RESTART. I managed to keep them conversing long enough to gather useful information that I’ll be reporting to the Data Protection Authority.

Greetings everyone,
I received a rather dubious call from a so-called "company" that purports to provide discounts on loans and credit card payments. Honestly, I'm unsure of their credibility. They cold-call individuals in an apparent effort to extract personal information. The lady on the other end was quite evasive when I asked her how she obtained my number, and she abruptly ended the call after I questioned their tactic of randomly contacting people for details.

Just thought I'd share this to inform others!
