Today, I received a rather unwelcome call from a chap named Gabriel (operator 210), whose voice was unmistakably male. He was rather persistent in guiding me on how to respond to all the queries he posed, even though he was well aware they were completely false. Before I knew it, he had transferred me to Vicky over at the PPI claims line. I made it clear to Vicky that I was recording the conversation and reminded her I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. I asked her to clarify why I was receiving such dubious calls and being instructed to make misleading PPI claims. Quite suddenly, she cut the call short! Not long after, Gabriel had the audacity to ring back a few times, hurling some rather unpleasant language my way. I've got my Truecall system on order, so soon I’ll be rid of these pesky calls for good-can’t wait!

They usually inquire about someone I don't know, and I just reply with a casual "not me". It turns into a bit of a contest to see who'll end the call first.
