Received a call from this number earlier today; since we didn’t recognise it, we chose to let it ring out, landing straight on the answering machine. It appears the caller didn’t bother to leave a message, or perhaps it was too quiet for us to catch any sound. Quite odd, really!

I recently received a call from this number, and the moment I picked up, there was a distinct click. Not long after, a rather robotic female voice chimed in, stating: "Greetings, you are now connected to the PCA helpline"-I'm fairly certain that was the wording. The voice continued to inform me that my details were logged as someone who has been incorrectly sold payment protection insurance. Given that I've never taken out any loans or similar credit products, it's quite puzzling to think how my name ended up in their system. Can anyone enlighten me about this company?

We received a call on our home phone which isn't listed with BT - we never share our number. It's baffling how these folks manage to obtain our details. We always ignore calls from numbers we don't recognize, but if they ring again, we won't hold back! Expect to hear a torrent of expletives from us, and we'll certainly be reporting them as well!

I find these callers quite frustrating, to be honest. As someone with a disability myself, I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service. It's quite intriguing that so many individuals here have also disclosed their own disabilities. It does make one ponder the connections and how our information ended up in such a database.

I received a call from this number not too long ago, and I'm left scratching my head about what their motives might be. It's quite baffling to think how they acquired my number, especially since we've registered with the Telephone Preference Service. They assured us that all but those pesky international calls would be blocked! So what's going on here?

I received a call from this number today. Much like the usual calls I get, it went straight to my voicemail system, and, as per the norm, no message was left. I've discovered that letting calls go to my answering machine tends to help weed out unwanted ones. Similarly, if I pick up the phone and then hang up immediately, it seems to do the trick as well. A call that is answered obviously gets flagged as a received call. If it's something truly important or from a friend or family member, they generally call back.

I’ve recently received a call from this number as well. The automated message was rather faint, but it felt as though they were implying that we’ve been mis-sold some kind of insurance. Much like the individual before me, I’m keen to understand how they managed to obtain our details, especially since this issue doesn’t concern us at all.

I find myself echoing the sentiments of those before me. I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, have never opted in for anything, and my phone’s been on silent mode for ages. I answered this call only to be met with silence, so I promptly hung up.

I recently received a call from this number and, as I'm disabled, answering the phone can be quite a challenge for me. When I finally managed to pick it up, the caller hung up, which was incredibly annoying. It seems I'm not alone in dealing with these nuisance calls, especially since I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service. After reaching out to my phone provider, I was told that it’s our own fault for sharing our number with doctors, hospitals, and the like, as they may have shared our details with others. We’re definitely the sort to thoroughly read the fine print and opt out of any unsolicited contact, whether it’s by phone, post, or email, every time we hand our number out!

I’ve just had a similar experience! It seems to me that these random diallers couldn't care less about being ex-directory. It's quite entertaining, really, how some individuals are under the illusion that being ex-directory will shield them from unwanted calls. Recently, we mistakenly called a number belonging to someone who was ex-directory, and my word, it turned into quite the spectacle! She exploded with indignation, wanting to know how we obtained her number and even threatened legal action. In the end, we just left the phone resting on the table until she got pure bored, and eventually, she hung up.

Absolutely, we've received the same persistent call. I'm currently digging around online to see if I can trace the source. It’s particularly frustrating given that I'm signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, which means they really shouldn’t be contacting us at all!

I received a call from this number, but I couldn't quite make out what the person was saying. It does seem to align somewhat with what Helen mentioned on 7th July. I'm baffled as to how they managed to get hold of our number since we're on benefits and wouldn't have the means to buy any of their products. Plus, we have no interest in entering any competitions.

Absolutely fantastic, how on earth did you manage that? We’ll give them a real run for their money! As someone with a disability, it’s incredibly frustrating to keep getting calls from these folks, especially when I’m listed as unlisted! How on the planet are they even finding my number? And I can’t believe my service provider actually shares my details without my consent! Huge thanks for sharing this info, it’s much appreciated!

We received an unsolicited call from this company. It was just an automated message concerning mis-sold financial products. We're on the ex-directory list and registered with the Telephone Preference Service. This kind of call is extremely bothersome and frankly, it ought to be banned if it isn't already!

I wanted to bring to your attention that the call your company placed to us at 15:43 earlier today was entirely unlawful. We plan to follow up on this issue with intent.
