I recently got a bill from Virgin Media, and I'm rather baffled as to why there's a charge for a phone call (08432240068) that I’m certain we didn’t initiate. The call took place on Wednesday, 31 January, at 16:16, labelled as a non-geographic number, lasting 6 minutes and 21 seconds, and costing £1.03, plus an additional 21p for VAT. To top it off, the caller was an older lady speaking in English, who was conducting some sort of survey in the M6 vicinity, inquiring about assistance with benefits, new roofing, heating, and the like. Quite puzzling indeed!
