I gave this number a bell and called them back, only to discover they’re from TO COLLECTION. It’s quite baffling, to be honest, as I've cleared payments and I’m left wondering what's prompted this. Has anyone got a clue about which company they might represent? Could it be a bank, a utility company, or maybe a credit card agency?

I received a call from a number based in the UK, supposedly connected to the legal department of a debt collection agency. They mentioned something about Connaught, although I'm unsure about the spelling. I called them back to clarify, seeing as they'd dialed the wrong number. They were quite apologetic and assured me that they'd remove our number from their database. Or so they claimed!

I had a rather unpleasant experience with a debt recovery agency going by the name of Connaught Collections. They tend to bombard individuals with texts claiming that you're eligible for a significant discount. Best to disregard these messages as they're merely fishing for cash without any justification. I strongly advise against sharing any personal information with them, come what may! If they happen to call you, simply hang up and move on with your day. It's not worth your time or energy!

We've received a staggering seven calls from these individuals over just the last three days. We suspect that the number in question could be 01603309300, as every time they rang, they left a voicemail using both 08432219300 and the aforementioned one. While the numbers differ, the messages are eerily similar-some confused voice saying, “hm yes well” before abruptly hanging up! Just today, at 4:30 and 4:31, we got those identical mumbles! Rest assured, I’m keen to heed any and all advice and I’ll absolutely refrain from divulging any personal details over the phone!
