I called this number after switching my energy supplier from Scottish Power to a different one. Seems like there was some confusion on their end, and now I’m stuck with a premium rate charge just for calling Scottish Power from my phone. It’s maddening - how are energy companies even allowed to pull this kind of stunt on us?

On October 3rd, I called this number twice to sort out a dodgy meter, but it ended up costing me £18 with no solution at all. Honestly, I’d steer clear of calling this number.

i phoned 0843 133 0176, the number for scottish power, and it ended up costing me £14 for just 20 minutes on the line. i was trying to fix an issue with my meter, which wasnt working right coz of their error - it hadn’t reset properly and was charging me way too much. honestly, why am i supposed to foot the bill for a problem that’s completely on them?
