I switched on me laptop and this warning popped up about some dodgy adult site, with a number to ring. I called it, and some Asian bloke picked up. Told him straight we knew it was a scam and told him to do one. Just last week, got a recorded call from someone claiming to be Amazon asking me to renew my Prime subscription. Proper fishy all of it.

Was logging into Amazon when suddenly this warning popped up saying my computer was infected with some kind of adult content virus and to ring a number they gave. I ended up talking to someone with an Asian accent from Hollywood who was clearly trying to take over my computer. Seriously, do not call that number!

was trying to log into amazon when suddenly i got a warning about some kind of spyware trying to hack my pc. they gave me a number to ring but when i looked it up, it led me to this site saying it’s a scam. quite dodgy if you ask me!

So I was just on Amazon and suddenly my computer started acting up like mad. Then a message popped up telling me to call this number. I gave it a go, but as soon as I got through, I realised it was a scam. The guy on the phone had an Asian accent. The number was 08081963181. Avoid it!

same as that other review, total scam! I actually believed my laptop got a virus at first, but nope - it was this guy from asia trying to trick me!

Called the number back but it just wouldn’t go through, looks like a scam to me.

my desktop suddenly popped up a warning saying there was some kind of porn virus trying to get in and it told me to call a number. when i called, the guy said he worked for microsoft and needed to help fix my computer. he spoke with an asian accent and i felt really iffy about it. instead of trusting him, i ran a full scan using my own security software and it found nothing wrong at all. i’m pretty sure it was just a scam trying to trick me.
