3 yearsI just got a ring from a lady with a thick Indian accent claiming she was from EE, saying she could lower my monthly charges. She even asked if I was an EE customer - which she’d already know if she really worked there. I cut the call short, telling her I didn’t recognise her at all. When I told her I wasn't following, she just hung up on me. Then I saw a missed call earlier from a similar 0808 number. They didn’t bother to check where I was in my contract or ask for any personal info. EE wouldn’t normally ring up like that with an offer for the current phone - they usually check if you want to upgrade because they know your plan is about to expire.
