I've received about six calls from this number over the past month. I haven’t bothered to answer any of them since it seemed fairly clear they’re part of some sort of sales operation. Cheers for the heads up!

Just received a call from this number, and the bloke on the other end was asking for my Vodafone PIN and some personal details. He even had my name right, which was a bit disconcerting since I do use Vodafone. Honestly, he came across as rather dodgy, reminiscent of that character from Fonejacker who claimed there was a chicken stuck in my account and needed my PIN to sort it out. Feels like a scam to me. Stay vigilant, everyone!

If you're with Vodafone and getting annoyed by constant calls, just let them know you're not having any of it anymore. They’ll likely take care of the issue and stop the bother!

I've had a fair bit of trouble with these numbers over the past few days - they're really starting to get on my wick. Whenever my phone rings and I don’t recognise the number, I simply leave it be. It’s quite baffling, though; they never leave a voicemail or anything. I’m with Vodafone, by the way.

I’m currently with Vodafone and I've experienced two calls on the same day, spaced just half an hour apart. Each time I answered, the callers claimed to be from Vodafone. They insisted on verifying our personal details over the phone, as one might expect! However, we’re not keen on disclosing our information like that, so we inquired about what they actually required and what sort of offer they were proposing, hoping to make an informed choice before sharing any details. Strangely enough, they didn’t seem interested in answering our questions at all.

I nearly let it slip my mind! Just let them know that their call is currently being recorded for potential legal matters, and then sit back and enjoy the quiet. It’s definitely not something they’re prepared for.

We were out and about when the phone rang at 3:17 PM, so we didn’t catch the call. Thought it would be wise to do a bit of online sleuthing before getting back to them. Quite glad we took that step! In the future, when we’re looking to purchase or upgrade something, I won’t hesitate to give them a buzz!

I've encountered calls like that on a few occasions. Claiming to be from Vodafone, the callers often begin by asking you to confirm your name, something they already seem to know. Soon after, they start fishing for your PIN number. If you politely decline to provide it, they become rather irate and insist, “But it’s really us!” They even try to throw you off by reciting other personal information associated with your number, such as your address, all in an effort to nudge you into revealing your PIN. Whatever you do, do not give in!

CAUTION! This has turned out to be a TOTAL SCAM! I've received three calls from these characters claiming to represent Vodafone, insisting that I'm due for a phone upgrade. It’s quite clear that if they were actually affiliated with Vodafone, their systems would have shown that I upgraded my phone a few weeks back via the 191 service. If you're ever uncertain about such calls, it’s always best to contact Vodafone directly yourself.

I recevied a call from these individuals, and they couldn't even identify themselves! If we end up incurring charges for this nuisance, we’ll be on their tail, and they won’t like the repercussions. Consider this a cautionary tale for everyone out there!

I've received a plethora of calls from this number. Each time, there's been a cacophony of background sounds, and on occasion, the caller has sounded like they might not be from around here. They purport to be from Vodafone, suggesting some sort of upgrade. However, when we reached out to Vodafone directly, they assured us that I'm not eligible for an upgrade and that they've had various reports concerning these dubious calls.

What an absolute nightmare! We’ve been constantly bombarded with calls from Phones4u (01782673000). They were insistent about verifying our details, but we made it clear we weren't willing to provide any personal information - it all seemed rather dodgy to us. We told them that when we’re ready for an upgrade, we’d pop into the shop ourselves. They ceased calling for a bit, but now here we are, receiving calls from this number again. We’ve taken to either rejecting the call or just letting it ring out. It’s the same saga we experienced with 3G - they hounded us with around five calls a day, from afternoon through to the evening! And now, here I am, with Vodafone, grappling with the same hassle.

We've received calls on this number from Vodafone previously and had our phone upgraded to the newer model that they mentioned. I've noticed that our account details have been updated as well. It makes me wonder if these individuals are somehow cloning Vodafone numbers in a manner similar to how people replicate email addresses. Just today, we answered a call, and the caller abruptly hung up. That's something I've never encountered before.

This number rings us incessantly. At first, there's nothing but silence, and then they proceed to inquire about our father-who the Vodafone account is registered under. The moment we mention that he isn’t available, they just hang up. It’s infuriating!

Has anyone else had a call from this number? It felt a bit dodgy to me-soon as we answered, they hung up. When I tried to ring back, Vodafone informed me there would be a fee, which is strange since I’m on a contract and typically that isn’t supposed to happen. Just trying to figure out if this is some sort of scam.

I've had a series of calls from 08080011102 over the last week while using Vodafone. I've chosen not to answer any of them, and frankly, the callers haven’t left a single message. It’s quite infuriating, to say the least!

Each day, we seem to get calls from 080800102 at least thrice, and when we’ve answered now and again, the line goes silent. It's all rather vexing! The number appears to alter every so often, as if they believe they’re being clever. Honestly, it’s quite the opposite! We have no faith in this number; any real queries should definitely come through 191.

I've received numerous calls from this number, and they never leave a voice message. When I called back, I was informed that there would be a charge for the call, so I promptly hung up! What a farce!

We received a call from this number, but there was absolutely no one on the line. All we could hear was the hum of chatter in the background, resembling an office environment. Very peculiar indeed!

This was linked to Vodafone, but we didn’t stick around to find out the details.

I've received calls from this number on two occasions-once at 3:17 PM on the 13th of March, 2008, and again at 12:49 PM on the 14th of March, 2008. They didn't leave a message and I chose not to answer either time. After looking through the details provided here, I'm quite relieved we didn’t pick up.

I chose not to answer the call because I've received a fair few similar ones lately, all of which this website suggests are scams linked to dodgy mobile upgrade offers. Has anyone got any idea who this number might be associated with?

In the last forty-eight hours, we've received three calls from these folks, but we've decided not to answer any of them. Our network provider is Vodafone.

I've had a similar experience. Ever since we fired off our termination notice to Vodafone, we've been inundated with calls from numbers starting with 080. To begin with, there was the 08080000133 that seemed to ring constantly - I'd say about five to seven times daily. Not long after, another number, 08080000144, started pestering us. We never bothered to pick up. And now, out of the blue, we’ve got calls from 08080011102. It’s utterly infuriating! If they had something crucial to relay, you'd think they'd leave a message on the answering machine! Counting down the days until our contract's up!
