I've been receiving calls from this number on a rather frequent basis lately, and it's all become a bit tedious. I'm unsure of the caller's identity, and given my exhaustion with persistent cold calls, I tend to let the phone ring out. Afterwards, I use 1471 to check who's tried to reach me, which is rather frustrating as it reveals I've missed at least two important calls from individuals whose numbers I didn't recognise. One left a voice message but was abruptly cut off before sharing her contact details, while the other was a mobile number I wasn’t familiar with, leading me to ignore the call under the impression it was just another unwanted nuisance. She did ring several times throughout the day until I finally decided to pick up. I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I can't quite fathom why I keep receiving these intrusive calls from 0800 numbers and others within the UK. Caller ID: 0800 9961966.

They couldn’t care less if you’re on the TPS, as they ignore the rules by faking an international location. Strangely, they seem to have his initials but are unable to provide me with his first name, and they speak with a pronounced Asian accent. I had a rather unpleasant experience with a call from this number on the 12th of January, 2015, around 4:18 in the afternoon. When I expressed my disinterest, the caller began to raise his voice, which was quite intimidating, especially as I was home alone!
