I popped into the shop today to get Sky Stream sorted and shortly after, got a call and email claiming to be from Curry’s tech help asking for extra details to complete the order. They wanted me to call 0800 988 1471, but I’m a bit suspicious. I’ll head back to the store tomorrow to sort it out proper.

I bought a dishwasher from Currys and paid upfront for delivery. When the delivery guys arrived, instead of just dropping it off, they kept pushing me to get a BT phone and broadband deal. They asked loads of personal questions, then later messaged me to ring 0800 9881471 to “confirm some details.” I looked it up and loads of people on here say that number is linked to scams. I’m gonna keep an eye on this one, feels dodgy! Cheers, Chris.

Got a message about a sky order supposedly from currys pc world but they don’t even have anything like that. The text said if there’s any issues to call 080098811471 but I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

I've been getting loads of emails from Curry’s PC World lately, saying I supposedly signed up for First Utility broadband. This number was mentioned in one of those emails. Had about ten of these pop up over the past week - totally dodgy if you ask me. Definitely a scam.
