This is definitely a scam. Payguru or Follo, they’re basically the same thing. I’m shocked EE lets them tack on 99p every week to my bill and then expects me to sort it out! I rang 08009247988 and got a really rude young woman who just kept going on about me supposedly signing up for the Priyanka Chopra fan site, repeating it like a broken record. She refused to explain how they even got my number in the first place. I’ve never even heard of Priyanka Chopra?! You should really take a look at your invoices!

I noticed some weird charges on my EE bill from a company I’ve never dealt with. I rang up EE about it and they told me to contact the company directly and see if they’d refund me. I’m not too hopeful, but I guess I’ll give it a shot anyway.

Seems this number belongs to Payguru. I noticed a dodgy subscription charging me £1.99 each week, something I’ve never signed up for. It’s appearing on my EE phone bill listed under a company named APIGEE, with a description saying C Cinemobi. Bit worried it’s a scam.

I got caught out by one of those Facebook quizzes - they sneakily get you to agree to let them sign up your phone for paid subscriptions, hidden in the terms and conditions no one bothers to read! Legally, it's like you've unknowingly entered into a contract with them. Proper sneaky trick if you ask me.

Just tap one button on your phone and suddenly you’re signed up for some rubbish subscription. It’s proper annoying and total rubbish.

Got a text from this number claiming to be cinemobi. The message said something like:

FreeMsg: You’ve joined Cinemobi at £1.99 a week. First day free. To stop, text STOPCINEMOBI to 80206. For support, ring 08009247988.

Feels dodgy to me, like a scam, especially as the message seemed to cost me money despite it saying FreeMsg. I’m just about to get in touch with my mobile company to sort it out.

Got a txt saying I was signed up to some Cinecom thing charging me £1.99 a month. Problem is, I’ve no idea what that even is and I never signed up for anything like that. The msg gave a number to text back if I wanted to unsubscribe. Smells fishy to me, feels like some dodgy scam or phishing trick from scammers trying to rip ppl off.

Noticed a fee on my mobile wifi bill that I wasn't aware of. Rang my network provider and they mentioned something called 'funmotif' with a contact number to reach them. Of course, their office won't open until Monday. Went through my texts related to mobile wifi and found just one from February, stating a weekly charge of £2.49, but no details on what it's for. Planning to demand a proper explanation and a refund, plus want to know how they got approval to bill me once I manage to speak to them.

Some bloke rang me up claiming my phone had 11 viruses and tried to sell me antivirus software, even though I already got two and nothing's wrong with my phone! Honestly, don’t they have anything better to do? The number 08009247988 is a total con, just out to stress you and then rip £2.50 out of your pocket each week. What a load of rubbish. I wouldn’t mind sorting this out face to face, proper angry now. Just leave me be, yeah?

It seems I've fallen victim to a rather dodgy scheme, as I've noticed some unexpected digital charges hitting my EE account. I’ve wasted a considerable amount of time trying to sort this mess out and get those charges reversed. Apparently, these payments are linked to a firm named FunMotif, operating under the umbrella of Payguru Global - the number is 08009247988. Quite unsettling, I must say!
