They were really pushy, said they were part of Barclays fraud team, but just wanted me to plug in my card with some pin sentry thing. Wish I hadn’t fallen for their nonsense. Proper annoying and persistent 😡

Tonight I got a call where someone asked me for my PIN. I told them straight away they're just trying to scam me because no bank would ever ask for that kind of info.

Got a voicemail from someone saying they're from Barclays, telling me to call back on 0845 0760174 if I don’t want these calls anymore. Not sure if it’s legit or not, but it’s pretty annoying because Barclays already knows I don’t want marketing or sales calls. Feels a bit fishy, might be a scam, but it’s hard to say for certain.

I left a comment earlier but just wanted to update - I rang up Barclays to check and this number isn’t linked to them at all. It’s definitely a scam where they want to steal your personal info and bank details. Don’t even think about calling the number they give you to stop the marketing calls, 0845 0760174 - that’s just another trick to grab more info from you. Stay clear of it!
