Honestly, just hang up straight away! They’re NOT from MICROSOFT, FACEBOOK, or any UK bank 😂 (that was the most ridiculous excuse they used). They ring you at odd hours just to check if your landline actually works. After that, they share your number and the times you’re available with the real con artists, who’ll try to trick you into purchasing some “genuine Windows update” or whatever scam they’re pushing that week.

Got a voice message from a supposedly official source claiming to be the DWP. They said my National Insurance number might get suspended due to some dodgy activity linked to it. Felt like a total scam to me!
