I got a recorded message pretending to be from B.T, saying they had to cut off my phone and internet because of some issues out in California. It then told me to press 4 if I wanted to talk to BT or 2 if I was with a different provider. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from an American guy saying he was with BT, telling me my phone line was hacked, and he was calling all the way from California. Problem is, BT doesn’t even provide our landline. Totally a scam, don’t fall for it.

I received a call with a robotic voice claiming my internet would be cut off immediately due to some alleged tampering with my BT phone line - which by the way, I don’t even possess! For starters, I'm not with BT for my internet, so it’s a bit bizarre, isn’t it? Secondly, why would a British company reach out to me with a pre-recorded message from the States, suggesting an issue that began way over there? I've heard this same nonsense not long ago, and surprise, my computer is absolutely fine! It's evident that this is some dodgy scam attempt.
