Got a call from someone claiming to be 02, but it turned out to be some dodgy scam about Covid. Watch out, it’s not legit!

He kept calling, wouldn’t stop - rang me about 8 times! I ended up ringing 02 and turns out there’s a new phone and tablet on my order. Quite weird really.

Got a call claiming it was some sort of Covid deal just for 02 users, but I run a business phone through EE. Total scam, they’re fishing for info or something.

So, someone rang me pretending to be from O2, but when I asked a few questions, they got all irritated and even told me they’d block my O2 number. Then they just cut the call off. Proper shady.

This guy claimed he was calling from O2, trying to sell me some covid-related offers on my mobile plan or whatever. As soon as I told him I'm not an O2 customer, I just ended the call straight away.
