This number has been ringing me non-stop for ages and for some weird reason Truecaller won’t block it on my iPhone. Today, they texted me from 07498547997 asking to reply, so I did telling them I'm not interested but my messages got blocked, like three times, totally ridiculous! Plus 0800 802 1641 just won’t pick up any calls. Looks like I’ll just have to deal with it till they get the hint I’m not buying anything from them.

Littlehampton here. Got three calls from this number today. We never pick up from unknown numbers. Ansafone always picks up but no voicemail left. No clue what they want or why but honestly, don’t care. If it’s something important, leave a message, otherwise it’s probably a scam.

My aunt and uncle, who are both in their nineties, got really scared when someone called saying they could stop them from going into a care home. The caller was asking for all sorts of personal info, even banking details. These scammers are truly horrible people. Really dangerous stuff.

Got a call this morning from an 0835 number about care fees and supposedly helping me avoid selling my house. Seriously? At that hour? They couldn’t or wouldn’t explain how they got my details, just said I ‘must’ve given permission’. They were just after an expert to get in touch and pitch their services. Wouldnt accept me saying no and kept insisting I had contacted them for help, which I hadn’t. I couldn’t hang up the call myself either. Such a waste of time.

Somebody called me from Honey Legal, their voice was all posh and robotic like, asking my opinion on the government using savings to fund care. Sounds dodgy to me, like they're stepping up their scam game! What always gives them away is when they mention my old married surname - you just KNOW they're using stolen call info. My tip?
