That website’s been taken over by malware, full of fake ‘install’ buttons and fake error messages. Even with AdBlock Plus running, some ads still manage to slip through. For example, it’ll tell you stuff like “You need Java 12.4 to convert this video.” One annoying popup directs you to a page claiming your PC has a virus and urges you to ring an 0800 number (0800 802 1523). The page keeps beeping nonstop and won’t close, even if you try to end it with Task Manager. The only way to stop it is by shutting down your computer forcibly. THAT PHONE NUMBER IS A SCAM. You absolutely don’t have a virus on your machine. Despite being a UK number, it’s likely rerouted abroad since it calls it a ‘toll free number’ - not a typical UK phrase.
