I hung up straight away and reported the call.

When she requested that I verify my name and address, I politely declined, stating I prefer not to share my personal details over the phone. Got a call about a Sky Package Review. First thing, he addressed me as Mrs, and I’m obviously a bloke. The caller ID flagged it as a scam number. I questioned him a few times to prove he was really from Sky, but he couldn’t pass any of the checks. Plus, I’ve got a deal with Sky that they’ll send a text to verify before calling, since I have a disability. If he was legit Sky, he’d be aware of that. No doubt at all, this was a scam.

A woman phoned saying she was from Sky and wanted to chat about my account. I told her I was driving and focusing on busy traffic, so couldn’t talk right then. I said she could ring back later. The thing is, even though I do have a Sky account, they never ring my mobile. Pretty clear this was a scam. Blocked her number straight away.
