Got a call today from a bloke claiming to be BT, he had an asian accent. He wanted to talk to my missus. I told him he must have the wrong number and that he was actually speaking to trading standards, the fraud team... he just ended the call straight away!

Got a call from some automated voice claiming Amazon was about to take £9.99 from my account. Thing is, I haven’t ordered anything on Amazon in like five years. I rang my bank afterwards, and they told me it was fine as long as I hadn’t shared any bank details with the caller.

I got a call from a bloke claiming to be with BT, but when I asked him about some stuff, he suddenly switched to saying he was with the Virgin Media investigation team. None of what he told me added up, but it did make me uneasy since he had my address and other details.

Sounds like a total scammer to me.

I got a call from this number, some bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from Virgin Media. He told me someone was messing about with my internet or something like that. He wanted me to turn off my router and then turn it back on. It felt a bit dodgy, so I just hung up, thinking it was probably a scammer trying to get into my system.
