I'm firmly against sharing any of our banking details over the phone, no matter who's on the line. They keep calling and ringing silently, even though I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and have already informed HSBC to stop contacting me. It’s getting rather tiresome. If this continues, my next course of action will be to lodge a complaint with OfCom and seek a Harassment Cease and Desist Order through the courts.

Received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from HSBC, insisting it was quite urgent. I made it clear that we weren’t going to share any details over the phone. I suggested they send us a letter instead, or we would head down to our nearest branch to sort it out. Unsurprisingly, they promptly hung up.

Oh, Stacey, we completely understand where you're coming from! We're in a similar boat. We’ve stopped picking up the phone from them, but it seems that regardless of the numerous emails we've sent regarding our accounts, they just won't take the hint. They keep calling us every single day, sometimes multiple times! It’s becoming quite overwhelming, to say the least. Honestly, the only escape we can envision at this point is changing our phone number altogether, just so they don’t have our new details. We’ve been receiving calls from this number relentlessly, ringing us from around 8:15 in the morning right through to about 9:30 in the evening! They simply won’t take the hint! They’ve just rung us again this Saturday afternoon, and it woke us up! We’ve finally decided to hang up on them. If they really want to discuss our accounts, they can bloody well send us a letter instead! We even tried emailing them via our online banking, asking them politely to stop calling, yet they seem to be completely ignoring us. Is there anything we can do to put an end to this annoyance?
