I wasn't able to finish my previous message, but this caller said he was from my insurance company, trying to offer me a better deal on my premium. I played along for a bit, but luckily I got suspicious and wouldn’t hand over my card details. He kept pushing until he brought up my washing machine, and I told him I’d already cancelled it and even got a letter confirming that. Right after that, he just cut the call. I was so relieved! Definitely seemed like a dodgy scam to me.
