8 yearsAfter seeing what others have said, I’ve decided not to answer if this number calls me.8 yearsGot a message saying I was close to my internet data limit. The funny thing is, I haven't switched my computer on in like three years since it's completely broken!8 yearsI received an email supposedly from BT saying I was nearly at my 50GB broadband limit. That seemed odd since my plan is unlimited, so I decided to look into it a bit. Turns out, they're attempting to trick you into giving your BT ID by pretending to offer an upgrade to unlimited. After that, they'd probably try to scam your bank details for the “upgrade” fee. They try to lure you in by getting you to click on links highlighted in red or call an 0800 number that’s not actually BT’s. Don’t be caught out - the email looks very authentic. Report it to BT and make sure you block whoever sent it.BT8 yearsGot an email from a number they left for me, saying we were close to hitting our broadband cap. Problem is, we don’t even have BT as our provider. Bit fishy if you ask me.BT9 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be BT, saying my data limit was up. Sounds dodgy to me, not sure they were legit.BTSubmit Your Own Report (0800 731 6290)
