I’ve been with 1&1 hosting my domain for over a decade now. Every now and then I get a call from them about some new service or offering, but honestly, that’s about it. They’ve never caused any trouble.

I don’t buy into the idea that they’re some dodgy firm - from my experience, they’re totally fine.
