My mum got tricked by some scammer who told her to pay £639 to "repair" her computer. A creepy popup showed up on her laptop saying she had to call them right away because her PC security was supposedly at risk. The caller said they were from UK Instant Support Ltd. We've already reported this dodgy outfit to Action Fraud, so watch out for these dangerous scammers!

I wasnt feeling great when I answered, and the caller claimed that 8 different people, including someone from Boston, had accessed my computer. They said the problem could be fixed for £419 and wanted me to post a cheque straight away. Something about the whole thing felt dodgy. It was supposed to be some kind of instant support from ITd Tamworth or something.

I got a call from someone saying they were a Hewlett Packard tech after I looked up printer support online. They told me my PC had been hacked and only their experts could sort it out, charging me £350. I quickly figured it was a con and ended the call.

I was nearly duped into handing over £350, but thankfully I saw through the scam and refused to pay. What a relief!

The other day, my wife was browsing a site aimed at educators when she inadvertently clicked on a dodgy link. All of a sudden, her computer was frozen with a warning that demanded she call a certain number to unlock it. They were quite pushy about wanting to use some sort of call centre tech to take control of the computer, but it was obvious that it wasn't Apple-related at all. We decided to cut the call at that moment.

What a complete fraud this is! I wouldn’t recommend giving them a ring; they’re just after your cash!

I got this number poppin up with some error notice on my computer about explorer not loading right. I read a bit online and it turns out the error is just a scam, easy enough to get rid of. So, I rang them up just to find out what’s going on. The guy who picked up said he was ‘Peter from tech support’ but when I asked where he was working, he got all shifty and wouldn’t say.

I received a dodgy call from this number on my Mac last night. When I reached out to them, they demanded £139 and took control of my computer. I’m really anxious they might have access to my banking information and other personal details. Can someone please assist?

I've been having a persistent pop-up on my Mac claiming that there's a virus and that my banking security is compromised. It urges me to dial 08006528775. Quite concerning, isn't it?

I rang this number after receiving an unshakeable message on my screen tonight. They requested £89 to resolve the issue, but I firmly declined-definitely sounded like a scam to me! The chap on the line even offered me his direct number for future reference when I was ready to proceed. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I reached out to this number after receiving a message claiming that my device was infected with a virus. They proceeded to inform me that I would need to make a payment to sort it out, but I flatly declined! Honestly, it reeks of a scam!

I received a rather alarming notification on my iPhone claiming a virus had infiltrated my device and urging me to ring a specific number right away. They were asking for a staggering £79 to rectify the issue. Naturally, I decided to contact Apple for some clarity, and to my surprise, they hadn’t a clue who these people were. The Apple team swiftly eliminated the pesky pop-up in mere minutes!

I’ve had a rather unpleasant experience with this number, which I believe is linked to a scamming operation masquerading as tech support under the name Aspire. I've attempted to file complaints and even managed to speak with a so-called supervisor, but they just kept cutting me off! It’s abundantly clear they're not affiliated with Apple at all.

Oh dear, watch out for this number! It’s a right scam, I tell you! They’re attempting to fleece you out of £299 for some dodgy virus software. Their tactic seems to be taking control of your computer, then pushing overpriced antivirus solutions on you! Stay sharp!

I've come across yet another dodgy scam that appears on my Mac, warning me that I’ve contracted a virus. It urges, “Don’t switch off your machine or all your data will vanish! Call this number right away: 0800 802 1063.” It's quite dodgy, isn't it?
