Got a call on 25th September 2024 from someone claiming I’d previously shopped with them. I couldn’t catch the company’s name, but they mentioned a buy one get one free deal. They told me to ring 08006349985 and ask for David if I wanted to join in. Ended up deleting the voicemail.

He started off with "Hello, this is Eric from BT technical support," but I quickly told him I couldn’t care less about his name and that he was a right pain. I doubt his managers bother listening. Some bloke said he was calling from Goldshield vitamins or something like that, and i just told him i wasn't interested in vitamins at all. How am i meant to know if i need them or not? My laptop tracked these annoying calls back to some ISA training spot out in the Syrian sticks. Seems like BT.EU might have put this together to fund their work or something. Seriously, make sure to block these calls no matter what - my machine got hit with a nasty virus from one of them and it took me ages, like two hours, to get rid of it.
