I got a call from someone claiming to be Barclays after I supposedly applied for finance, but I never did. They rang really quick, I didn't pick up, and they left a message asking me to call back on the number listed here. Just so you know, the number was suspicious because Barclays actually end with 3919, not this one. Don’t answer or share any info with them!

Just to add on from what I said before, the call actually seems linked to 'Barclays Partner Finance' or possibly their Underwriting division. Regular Barclays High Street branches probably won't know the number as they're separate departments, so don't be so quick to trust that Barclays Retail says it’s not one of theirs. They’re quite different teams, really.

They tried reaching me about my Apple Finance request, left a few missed calls before sending an email from a legit Barclays address asking me to call back. Everything seemed above board. If you’re unsure though, best to just hang up and ring the company directly yourself. Scammers can fake outgoing calls showing a real number, but they don’t have control over your incoming calls to the real bank.

Got a call from a guy named Adam on 08006343918 about an application I supposedly made, wanted some info.
