If you're over the age of 70 or receive certain benefits, the service was complimentary. I had mine completed last year, and it was quite straightforward.

I received a call earlier today from someone claiming that these individuals were affiliated with the government and involved in selling cavity insulation. Is that accurate?

I received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be affiliated with the Government, offering to install cavity insulation. Is there any truth to this?

Earlier today, my partner received a call from some individuals who claimed to be representatives from our bank. They seemed to have knowledge of the fact that we hold accounts with Nationwide. They mentioned that they would give us a call back later this evening. To top it off, the conversation veered towards loft insulation. It's rather baffling why our bank would be contacting us about such a thing!

I, much like Christine, received a call from Nationwide Energy Services, inquiring about our loft insulation which, apparently, has seen an 'improvement' in the last decade. They claimed we qualify for a free grant for insulation. Has anyone else taken advantage of this service? Is it authentic, considering they’re keen on inspecting our loft?

Received a call from this number earlier today. They appeared to know my address and my full name, claiming I was eligible for a 70% grant for loft insulation. The caller identified herself as being from National Energy Services and insisted on coming round to check the loft. She mentioned that we would only need to pay £129, while the rest would be covered by the government. Is this something the government actually endorses? We find it unsettling that someone can just ring up pretending to be a representative of the government to potentially gain access to our home.

Received a call that sounded just like many others I’ve had. Honestly, I'm somewhat disillusioned with the whole ring. They assured us of complimentary loft insulation, yet it feels like nothing is truly ‘free’. To top it off, I'm now a bit anxious about someone popping by to inspect our loft!

I received a phone call earlier today regarding roof insulation and government grants. They referred to themselves as Nationwide Energy, and the price quoted was £129. I'm wondering if this is a scam or if it’s genuine?

Received a call from this number claiming to be from Nationwide Energy Services, stating that we qualify for a government grant for loft insulation. They asked us a fair few questions and we agreed to an appointment. However, after doing a bit of digging on the company, we decided to cancel. I tried ringing them to sort it out, but couldn't get through to a soul. Unsurprisingly, no one showed up for the appointment. We reckon it’s all a bit dodgy, to be honest.

This number has been persistently bothering our 90-year-old mother, who has comprehensive wall and roof insulation in her home. The individuals involved seem to dismiss her concerns. They did, however, acknowledge his address and have made plans for someone to visit and assess his insulation. This isn’t the first company to try such tactics, so be cautious, as they often show up at times that are not previously communicated to catch you off guard and alone at home. It appears we’ll be dedicating a day to visiting Mum tomorrow.

I've encountered the very same scenario - an annoyingly pushy salesperson claiming that I expressed interest in loft insulation, which I definitely did not. The person's name is Danny Pickett from Nationwide Energy Services, calling from 0800 6335769. Can anyone shed some light on whether these individuals are reputable or should I be wary?

Absolutely not! The company that contacted me was Nationwide Energy Services, and I assure you, they wouldn’t even consider acknowledging your banking details, as they have no access to that information whatsoever.

I've had a right bother with a relentless salesperson claiming I've shown interest in loft insulation, when in fact I've done no such thing! The individual in question goes by the name of Danny Pickett from Nationwide Energy Services and has been contacting me on 0800 633 5769. Just wondering if anyone's had similar experiences-can these folks be relied upon, or should I treat them with caution?
