What a palaver! It seems that this phone number, which appeared on my Bush fridge, was merely a front for some dodgy insurance selling operation. I attempted to get in touch, only to find myself speaking to someone in an Indian call centre where the sound of laughter echoed in the background. Rather than addressing my enquiry about the appliance, they quickly pivoted to press me for an insurance policy! It was quite ridiculous, as they began asking for a mountain of personal information that had nothing to do with registering my fridge. Honestly, what a waste of time!

Got a call from this number after spotting it on my Bush fridge, but it turned out to be some call centre in India with folks chatting and laughing in the background. Thought it was just about registering my appliance, but suddenly they started pushing insurance sales and asking for tons of personal info that makes no sense for just registering a fridge. Felt sketchy, definitely a bit of a scam to grab data under the pretense of registration.
