I decided to give them a bell again and ended up chatting with a lovely lass from Scotland. She mentioned that it’s essentially an automated dialler from O2 that kicks in when you’ve got some outstanding balance! Thankfully, we sorted our payment a wee while back, so everything’s hunky-dory now. She did mention, though, that the auto-dialler might keep on ringing us until the next billing cycle, but we can just brush it off. Hope this sheds a bit of light for you! Cheers, n x

I just received a call from this number and according to what I found, it was linked to O2. Nothing transpired during the conversation, but the callers were keen to know when they could chat with me. We had a rather baffling exchange where I ventured a “what” in a Scottish accent, but then it fell silent again. We've just received a call from this number and have no idea who it belongs to. When we answered, there was complete silence at first. Just as we were about to hang up, we heard the voice of an Asian male, but the line dropped almost instantly. Following that, a Scottish woman came on the line asking for someone named 'Madeline.' We informed her it was the wrong number, and she responded with a rather odd 'That's perfectly alright,' as if we were the ones in the wrong. Quite strange, really. Also, there's no indication that this is linked to O2 at all.
