Every day, we’re bombarded with about thirty calls! As soon as we turned a blind eye to the house phone, these persistent callers switched to our mobiles, ringing us from eight in the morning right through until just after eight in the evening. The numbers always seem to be the same: 08003284930, 08005877819, and now there’s 08001695164. It’s infuriating-whenever I pick up, there’s nothing but silence; the line just goes dead! It’s gotten so ridiculous that we’ve decided to change our bank just to escape this nuisance!
