I got an email from Scottish Power asking me to ring this number to arrange a slot for swapping my gas and electric meters to smart ones. They said the old meters aren’t safe anymore, which felt like a pushy excuse to get me to agree. I said no to the smart meter and sent them an email explaining why. As far as I know, there’s no law in the UK forcing anyone to have a smart meter yet, so I reckon what they’re saying in that email isn’t true at all.

Scottish Power are using this number right now. I got an email from them saying I should ring this number to set up a time for them to swap my gas and electric meters for smart ones. They try to pressure you by saying your old meters are unsafe, which isn’t true in my opinion. I turned down the smart meter and sent them a written email explaining why. As far as I know, there’s no law in the UK that forces you to have a smart meter, so their email felt a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call telling me my national number was suspended because of some fraud thing. Didn’t really pay attention after that.
