Someone from Anglia Water supposedly called me but it’s definitely not their number (I confirmed with Anglia Water and they say I don’t owe anything). They’ve rang me loads of times and left voicemails asking for my bank info to settle a bill I don’t have. Since my number is unlisted, I reckon they got my details illegally. If they ring after 25th May again, they’ll be breaching GDPR for sure.

About a week back, I settled my bill with Anglian Water, yet I keep getting calls from this same robotic number. It’s absolutely maddening. When you follow the automated prompts, it tries to get you to input your bank info for payments. If you try to get through to a real person by causing an error, it just tells you to call the automated line again. Whoever came up with this system deserves a serious kick where it hurts. After this awful experience, I’m done dealing with Anglian Water permanently!
