They already had my details like my name and the exact brand and price of an appliance I’d just signed up for online about an hour earlier. The caller asked me to verify my name and address. When I questioned the reason for the call, they mentioned something about the warranty. I told them I’d already registered it online, but they insisted “that’s not complete coverage” or something similar. The whole thing felt dodgy and nothing like an official customer service call. I told them it didn’t seem legit and ended the call. Pretty sure it was a scam trying to pull one over.

Got a call but didn’t pick up, even tho I’d just signed up online for a dishwasher today. I made sure to check the box that said no calls from the maker or D&G, so this was a bit annoying.

I signed up my Beko fridge freezer recently, and since then I've had three calls over the past couple of days. They never left a voicemail or anything. I've ended up blocking the number.

I’ve just signed up my new Beko freezer and already got two calls from this number. Didn’t pick up either time, let it ring through to voicemail only to be met with complete silence for half a minute. No message at all. Sounds fishy, so I’m gonna block it now.

This number has rung me half a dozen times just this week. I always let it go to voicemail since I already looked it up on here to find out who it was. So frustrating! I've been adding it to my blocked list each time, but for some reason, they're still able to get through. I'll keep ignoring the calls though, fingers crossed they lose interest and stop bothering me!

Sounds like it could be one of those warranty protection calls, but you really can't tell for sure these days. I usually just block and ignore them to be safe.

Same here. I recently got a new appliance and had it registered properly. Got a call from someone saying they were from Domestic & General. When I said I wasn’t interested in any extra insurance, they quickly ended the call!

No end of hassle with these lot from Domestic & General. I bought a cooker recently and registered it, but they just won’t stop calling. Told them I’m not bothered, yet they keep phoning. In the end I just blocked the number and ignore them now. Proper annoying! 😡
