3 yearsWhat a load of dodgy types! An utter nuisance calling round with a thick Irish or Traveller accent. The bloke looked rough as hell - unshaven, missing some teeth, and looked like he hadn’t washed in a week. He asked if he could cut my hedge, which was already looking neat as a pin. I told him to jog on straight away. Then, unbelievably, he tried to swindle me out of my cherished work van parked right on my driveway! I can’t stand these kind of crooks. Just a heads up, folks - proper tradesmen don’t need to waste time pestering you on your doorstep. They’re out there grafting hard, earning an honest crust.3 yearsMy 93 year old mother-in-law had two blokes turn up outta nowhere and trim her garden hedge, about 12 feet long. They spent a good two hours on it and one of them said he gave her a quote, but she can't remember anything like that.
