I got a call on my mobile from someone named Stephanie who somehow already knew my name, which was odd. She said it was about a “rewards programme.” The noise in the background was really loud, like a busy office full of people making calls, and from her accent, I’d guess it was a call centre somewhere in the Philippines, even though the number appeared as a UK freephone. Stephanie didn’t sound very enthusiastic at all. I didn’t get to hear what the reward was for before I told her I wasn’t interested and suggested we both save time by ending the call.

Got a call, left a voicemail but it was dead silent before hanging up. Definitely felt like a scam.

Got called twice by this number today. The second time some lady with a foreign accent said she was phoning from a rewards club. I could hear a baby crying in the background, so I just ended the call straight away.
