I dialled this number to get in touch with Nationwide, so yes, it's definitely theirs. That said, the hold times were absolutely ridiculous.

I’m fairly sure this number rang me twice, on the 1st and 2nd of November 2021. Wouldn't recommend picking up. Some bloke with a thick Scottish accent, who said his name was George Finley, kept going on about how he was trying to help me avoid scams - but it turned out he was the one scamming me the whole time.

I got a call from a young woman, she seemed alright, didn’t really push for much info except for my name and where I live. I decided to call the number back, and my call blocker flagged it as nationwide, but there was also a big red alert warning. Honestly, pretty relieved I held back on sharing more personal stuff now.

Just got a call from this number, they asked for me by name and when I said yes, they ended the call right away.

I told Nationwide about it and they said it’s definitely not one of their numbers, so sounds like a scam to me.

Heads up to anyone dealing with Nationwide. Don’t trust the number 0800 464 3060 - it’s a scam. The cops already know about it. This was on 4th Dec 2017. Stay careful!

Got a call from this number but no clue who it was. They didn’t leave any voicemail so I just didn’t bother returning the call.
