I’ve had a bunch of calls about a crash that I never had. Right after I put up an ad on Gumtree, I got a call about it. Then, I was hit with two more calls, probably just trying to bug me even more.

Right after I put up an ad on Gumtree, I got a call from some Indian bloke who was really rude. He kept yammering on about a car crash that never even happened to us. Said we’d been in an accident, which is rubbish. Then he started threatening to report me to the police for wasting his company’s time. I told him to do his worst - he rang me first, and the number’s on the TPS anyway. Told him he was a muppet and that I’d be reporting him to Ofcom. Hung up straight away. I’m pretty sharp with these scammers and always give as good as I get. The call’s been reported to Ofcom now.
